I had a low grade tumour with no spread at the time. I suddenly developed pain on my right lower side a round the nephrectomy site and a bit lower a couple of days ago. Has anyone experienced this, I wonder if I am over anxious about it?
Do contact your GP and the cancer nurse team as you are presumably still "on their books" as it were. I imagine you have had or are due a routine check up around now too?
Oh good! I hope your results come soon and are all ok. I am 4 months on and still awaiting the results of my 3 month CT scan. I have developed soreness and a lot of fluid retention so am also wondering if this is normal and hoping for answers too! Good luck.
Yesterday I woke feeling so very poorly. But it was my remaining kidney, felt i had been kicked by a horse. I felt sick and dizzy. I went to anxiety mode. It was only the fact my sciatica was playing up so I put on ibuprofen gel. Without realising this the gel had soaked into my skin and I think it irritated my kidney. Not a medical person, so just a guess. I am fine again today...our bodies are complex..if u are still worried contact your team...hugest hugs
Thanks Fleabane great it turned out to be nothing, I would think if there is anything on the ct scan they would have been in touch by now, but it does make you wonder. I might get in touch with them as still have the pain today and it’s about 6 days now.
