Hiya just popping in to say hello.
I was diagnosed last christmas with kidney cancer and February I had full nephrectomy, with removal of nearby lymph, which was compromised. To cope with my initial diagnosis I called my cancer Rufus and Lydia. This week we have been informed that Rufus and Lydia have sent their offspring up into both lungs. To be honest this news floored me. I have kept very positive, living each day as it comes. Thankfully I found this forum which has given me so much comfort. I don't feel so alone. I am due to see the oncologist in the new year so any advice of what to ask, information on treatments etc...been suggested immunotherapy or targeted has been mentioned....anyway...hugs and love to everyone
So sorry to hear this but you are so positive. I’ve found immunotherapy amazing as it’s shrunk my secondaries a huge amount.
go for whatever is offered and you feel you can cope with. For me it has had some side effects but nothing compared to chemotherapy which my son had.
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
