Hi All, if you have read some of my threads you'll know I had an 8cm tumour-robotic-left nephrectomy on 21/6/24. I received an outpatient letter last week to be seen on 11th July. However , Yesterday I received a call from the hospital asking me to attend today as consultant would like to see me sooner! So I'm going at 10.30am 4th July. With my husband. I don't really know what to think! Am i nervous HELL YES!!! I can only assume my histology results are back and he has some news!!! Good or bad I'm not sure. Or purely they have had a cancellation and can see me sooner ... too many thoughts x
So the tumour they removed was a cancer called Chromaphobe. No treatment required. Surveillance only for the next 5 years and CT scan again in 6 months. ️ glad they decided to remove and not leave in to monitor... I didn't have a biopsy on mine. But glad it was fully removed . I laughed, I cried... during my appointment, mixed emotions but good news. Xx
