Hi philw, I came back to work 2 weeks after partial nephrectomy 

Yes I am working as a delivery driver so quite a physical job. I have warned them I will be off for a good 6 weeks at least after my op :)

Driving instructor here so been advised 6 weeks off is sensible, which I have to agree with. Even though I’m finding the lack of daily adrenaline weird, I must be sensible.

  Meeeeee!  But I am 54 so still in the working range.    **Drumroll** I've just handed my notice in and got a new job.   The scary thing is I went to 3 days a week after diagnosis (and the summer off to reflect) but the new job is 35 hours a week.  I wonder what the max holiday I can buy is?!

Got a hubby in the house retired so I need to escape! 

I couldn't bear the thought of this job/team being my last.  I need a nice job and working environment before I can retire. 

Retired long ago thank heavens.
