Not sure if it's ok to be on here, My brother has a growth on his left kidney and some marks on the right ,He is waiting to have part left removed I have a lot of questions and concerns that are affecting my MH as there are only the 2 of us .We look after each other but I have illnesses and mobility problems so worry I won't be up to looking after him properly.

Also we need to reconsider what we eat .too much processed foods ,Can any one suggest meal ideas .

Hi sorry to hear about your brother I had a large tumour attached to my left kidney removed in April this year. Recovery went well. Have you got a slow cooker that you can do casseroles or soups. Supermarkets do soup mixes just add stock cubes and boil. Try and have fish, chicken rather than red meat. Hope your brother is OK.

It was full removal due to the size of the tumour it was 1 and half kilos. It was done through open surgery wound is 15cm long.
