My husband had a nephrectomy three weeks ago and came joke after one week in hospital.
They managed to save part of his left kidney.
He is going very light headed even when sitting his blood pressure is fluctuating and don't know this is because of the operation or his blood pressure tablets or a mixture of both.
He feels exhausted just getting up and walking into the kitchen is this a normal part of recovery .
I would be grateful for any thoughts
Thanks jaxx
Hi, I had a partial nephrectomy End of Feb this year. It will get better. Im still being careful but mostly fully recovered. It is so painful at 1st but keep moving that will help the bp too. I also did sitting out in chair in the day so I didn't get thrombosis. Take care its early days.
