I had a radical nephrectomy on February 14, 2023
When I woke up after surgery I asked my surgeons assistant, if I had Cancer. (I was previously told, that after reviewing my scans they were over 90% confidant I did have cancer)
After my surgery I was told I do not have cancer the mass was contained.
last week March 31 I decided to read my medical chart and the charts revealed I had clear cell cancer but it was all removed.
I thinking OH No! . I had Cancer.
When I spoke to the physician assistant she said You had a low grade level 1 Cancer ( The Pathology Report revealed the same information) But now you no longer have cancer.
I'm speech less
.
First of all, I am happy for you that the cancer is gone, I hope for the same outcome when I have my surgery.
I can kind of see why you had this misunderstanding, you had cancer but now you don't, enough to say a very happy misunderstanding indeed, once again well done on being cancer free, I hope that is something you can say for many many years to come.
