Hi All
I’m new to the group but been reading the forum for a little while just never posted. My husband had a partial neprectomy on his right kidney 7 days ago. We found out his left kidney is reduced in size possibly due to being very premature and only contributes 19% and currently his kidney function is quite low so I’m not sure what that means for going forward.
I wanted to ask about urinating. My husband now gets up several times during the night to wee is this common and a side affect? I have done all the usual googling but can’t find an answer.
many advice much appreciated.
thanks
Hi DW13
hi I am unsure if the reduced size of his second kidney is effecting his urinating maybe again is a factor I know that being 58 and I always have to get up during the night to go to the loo but this also depends on my intake! Maybe worth asking the doctor if the reduced size is effecting his urinating .
sorry can’t be more help , good luck to you both Milli1964
