Hi R1k , my husband has 18cm kidney tumour and his is inoperable, it had also spread to both lungs and pluera at diagnosis 2yrs ago . He had 18months on immunotherapy and then that stopped working and it spread to several lymph nodes and both adrenal glands.  He's now on a new treatment called sunitinib, it's quite brutal compared to the immunotherapy which was called ipi/nivo.hes due a scan soon to see if that's working . Just take one step at a time , prepare for your surgery and recovery , it's a major operation and you'll need loads of rest afterwards. Your oncology team will discuss treatments with you after that . Good luck 

Thankyou for replying. Fingers crossed your husbands scan comes back with positive news. Yer I'm ready for the op it's just the waiting for a date that sucks abit. 

With cancer you are always waiting it's either for scans , scan results , oncology appointments , it's always something
