To complicate things he also has complex Parkinson’s. The MDT are asking for him to be assessed for Stereotactic treatment. Does anyone have experience of this and what it might entail? He’s 73 and also has early dementia.
Thank you for any information.
Hi @csrolyn b,
I had stereotactic treatment ( cyberknife) in 2013 on a secondary brain tumour. I had 3 sessions of 20 mins each on 3 consecutive days. You have to lie v still while it's being done. Would his Parkinson's cause a problem with that?
You may need to ask the specialist if so.
Good luck. As you can see, I'm still alive n kicking after mine.
Sue
