i was just hoping for some advise, my mum at the begging on the month had a ultrasound scan and she was told she had kidney scaring. A week later we had a call from a specialist who said actually they found a 8cm mass, which could be cancer but they don't know so they had to do a CT scan. It has been over a week since her CT scan and she has received a letter for a meeting on the 18th of June which seems to be to be a long time to wait to find out if it is cancer or not. She has had her blood results back which shows that her blood in her kidneys are functioning well.
ofcourse we are all worried and the though of waiting a further three weeks not knowing is so scary, can anyone offer some advise on what to do whilst your waiting to stop your mind from going to the worst place
