This has hit hard, I just hope that hubs has a possibility of treatment, and fast as it seems this isn’t good.
they have already sent his biopsy off to Oxford for further study and reporting. I just hope they get into this with better speed than they’ve shown already.
any hopes?

Hi moomy and a warm welcome to the Macmillan Online Community but sorry that you needed to find us and I am especially sorry to hear about your husband's diagnosis. I just dropped by and noticed you've not had a reply just yet. This is a very busy forum. As I have a different type of cancer I'm sorry I can't offer you any answers.
The Community is organised into dedicated support groups so can I see you have joined our supportive Kidney cancer group, this will be a good place to connect with others navigating the support of a family member on the same type of cancer journey. Hopefully someone will reply to you very soon.
When you have a minute, it would be great if you could pop something about your journey so far into your profile as it really helps others when answering or looking for someone with a similar diagnosis. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time.
It’s always good to talk and the Macmillan Support Services provides lots of information, support, financial guidance or just a listening ear.
Most services are open 8am to 8pm, 7 days a week and it's free to call on 0808 808 00 00 have a look by Clicking here to see what is available and we also have our Ask an Expert section, but do allow two working days for replies from our expert team.
Sending you welcoming hugs Bx

Hello again moomy. I feel I should offer you an abject apology. I am quite new to being a Community Champion here on the Macmillan Online Community. In my message I was welcoming you and just for once hadn't scrolled down sufficiently in the activity posts to see you'd already extensively entered your profile, indeed previously been a CC yourself. I'm so sorry for that.
I will tag the CC for this group so hope they'll reply to you as well.

Hello. The bit about delays initially certainly struck a chord! I am fairly new here but really wanted to respond to you. I think it is so important to respond even if nothing wildly earth shattering to offer. So how was your weekend? How are you hoth feeling? In my case periodically depressed, angry, childish and wanting to smash my head against something.
I have met loads of challenges without flinching but for some reason most of my emotional respurces have just run out. I hope you have lots of support. Do you have family?
Chat any time.
