Hi all, I've recently had my left kidney and large tumour removed 4 was ago, and now waiting for immunotherapy treatment at The Christie's in Manchester. My Kidney cancer has spread to my lungs, and my cancer is incurable I'm told. Does anyone know what side effects I may experience when my treatment starts? I am fairly healthy otherwise but feeling quite low today.  I'm also quite frustrated that my Oncologist hasn't come back to me after leaving messages all week.

  • Hi Susie Mac

I am sorry you have not had a reply to your post yet. Being told that your cancer has spread and that you are now incurable is extremely stressful. Being incurable though does not mean you cannot be treated and can still live a fulfilling life.  There are a few people around who are on immunotherapy, many of whom are in the incurable group. It is a very supportive group, maybe you would like to come and join the group. I will put the link HERE for you. Come on over and say hello, you will be made very welcome.

    Take care
