I was diagnosed with cervical cancer jan 2020 had a hysterectomy and radiotherapy.
Jan 2021 i started getting pains in my lower back and left hip I had various scans and doctor appointments which basically came back as nothing I felt the doc felt I was wasting there time.
I went to A&E twice both times sent home with pain medication the 2nd time in a&e i had act scan as the doctor told me she thought it was my kidneys not my back that was in pain.
Turns out I had a blocked left kidney and was put forward for a stent to be placed in my left kidney.
The day of the stent came but was cancelled at the hospital due to a urine infection I by this time was in excruciating pain every day.
A week later I was in my car when I had to pull over quickly and get out almost collapsed,a very kind man called an ambulance.
After sitting in triage at the hospital for 3 hours in pain the results came back I had gone in to kidney failer on the left side.
I hasten to add they pretty quickly got me to a ward for emergency stent, the blockage of the kidney I found out is cancer.
I have been in so much pain since the op of the stent and cancer diagnosis this time round has knocked me for 6.
I'm so depressed I cry at anything I'm not coping at all
I've even felt I want to end my life ,I'm am really struggling I live alone but do have a daughter who is close by who comes to see me every other day or so.
I'm still in pain I can't walk hardly and am unable to drive due to the pain.
