Mum had to keep her catheter in until she has a TWOC in 7-14 days .
Has anyone had a TWOC and what does it entail .
Also Mum has come hime in a nightie without underwear . Can she wear underwear as she doesn’t want to live in nightwear .
thanks
Hi AnnemarieH,
I did not have mine fitted until I had my operation, so I cannot help you there, as I was in hospital I was in pyjamas a friend of mine had one fitted and he was able to wear clothes maybe someone else might to able to give you more information, take care I am so glad your mother has someone to help her with all the questions you will both have. Sandy
Thanks at the moment she is in her nightie but would like to see if she can get dressed in a couple of days . She can have a shower tomorrow which should be fun
Your mum will feel so much better once she can shower. I couldn’t have one for ages as i had two large wounds which had to be kept dry. That first shower was amazing, I was in hospital altogether for 24 days as I kept testing positive for covid. As my husband is immunosuppressed we couldn’t risk it until I had the all clear. Hope your mum enjoys her shower and starts out on her recovery journey xx
