I've had 1 round of immunotherapy for my kidney cancer

Start the tablets first thing in the morning (chemo)

Very apprehensive because I've heard alot about side affects I will still take the tablets and staying positive but my anxiety as kicked in and I'm very tired from today anyone else having simular treatments? Maybe your further on with your treatment and feeling great or positive maybe up maybe down side affects ect......

Many thanks emma

  • Hi  welcome to the kidney cancer group.

I'm afraid I have no personal experience of immunotheraphy plilus oral treatment, ad I'm only on oral meds, but I know there are others who've been on that combo. So I hope they will respond to your post. In the meantime vyou might want to search under immediately?

I'll try n find a suitable link for you.

Let us know how you're getting vin please,

    Sue

  • I had immunotherapy, for 2 years, after my first operation. I had mild aches and pains, like mild flu and just rested to sleep it off. It wasn't combined with oral treatment at the time, but I now have been on it for 18 months. I have had stomach upsets, but luckily, only a few sickness episodes, and was prescribed medication for both; I have found them very effective. Sorry I can't be of more help.
