I’m a month out from keyhole partial nephrectomy. Surgery went well and have navigated the recovery relatively ok although the internal stitches still tug at times and can’t lift anything heavy still.
Just wondering if anyone has experience of what is normal for the external appearance? My incisions are still healing and not infected but for one of them i had a massive fold in my side which I think was where they pull the internal stitches tight.
This folds got a bit better but it’s still very pronounced and inverted which my waist bands naturally fall into (have very much being wearing dresses and the high wasted underwear).
My question is has anyone had this invert and does it get better? Appreciate it’s superficial and the important thing is cancer free but feeling like a voodoo doll and looks rather strange like a chunk missing although nothings been cut away it’s all this internal pull effect
