Hi Mick
That's great to hear that although feeling tired you're generally feeling good after having your kidney and adrenal gland removed a few months ago.
I haven't had this procedure, nor am I an HGV driver, but I noticed that your post hadn't had any replies yet. This is quite an active group so it may be that your post has slipped off the first page before someone with the right experience has seen it. Replying to you will 'bump' it back to the top of the discussion list where it'll be more easily seen.
I did type 'HGV' into the group search bar to see if this had been a previous topic but drew a blank I'm afraid. Of course this doesn't necessarily mean that there aren't any other HGV drivers in the group just that they haven't mentioned it when posting.
You could also post this in the ask a nurse section of the online community and one of the specialist nurses will aim to get back to you within 3 working days. Also your CNS should be able to give you an idea of when you might be fit enough to return to work.
While you're waiting for replies it would be great if you could put a bit about your diagnosis and treatment in your profile as it really helps others when answering or looking for someone with a similar diagnosis. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.

Hi Mickyt,
I am not a lorry driver but I have had my left kidney, adrenal gland and spleen removed, everyone heals at different rates, do you have to have anymore treatment, if not the general rule is you can drive when you are comfortable and can do an emergency stop without it hurting you, the only problem I see is if you have to do a lot of physical work lifting and loading than I think you should ask one of the professionals, I hope you get what you need keep safe.
Sandy
