Hello everyone. New here. A month ago I had a routine annual medical check at work and the echo showed a mass on my left kidney.
Went to consult a urologist at the hospital, urine test and blood test and consultation. He said the mass is around 2cm and located on the outside of the kidney, opposite the duct it seemed from the sonogram picture. He ordered a contrast CT scan which I did the same day and I’m now waiting for the results which should come in three weeks.
I feel tenderness across my lumbar area and sharper pain on the left when making certain movements. It is continuous. A few months ago I noticed lumbar pain when going on walks or doing shopping and standing all day but didn’t make anything of it.
My question is, how did your cancer feel at the beginning, pre- or post diagnosis? Did you have back pain? Other symptoms like nausea or something else? I don’t have visible blood in my urine, have not lost weight, but feel tired all the time like sleep barely restores my energy. Thanks in advance for sharing if you’re into it.
