My wife has had her first course of Ipilimumab and Nivolumab and we have just joined the group, so not sure how to benefit from seeing previous conversations relating to her treatment. Naturally, like everyone else in the group, the news of her tumour was devastating, but we're now over the initial shock and would like to benefit from learning of other patient's experience with this treatment.
Thank You in advance
Ron.
Welcome! I'm on ipi/nivo, started mid-January 2022. It's doing its stuff. It's probably a bit early for you guys as you need to give it 3 months before you have an idea how the body is adjusting (read = time for the side effects to kick-in!). Anything you want to know, please ask. I've a blog called "Kidney Not" over in the blog section with what's happened to me so far.
Hi Thanks, intermediate means 3/4 stage cancer - it has spread over towards her lung and maybe adrenal gland. We are in the first stages of treatment. We've been told there's no cure, but hopeful that her treatment can give her some time. It's all new, so don't really know what's in store. My wife is Val, she is 72, and in otherwise good health.
Regards, Ron.
