Hi everyone, it is a while since I was on here but I would love some advice, about 6 weeks ago I had a heavy cold which lingered for a few weeks followed by thrush for 2 weeks but now my swallowing is getting worse and my dry mouth is worse than ever. I am sweating all the time even outside.
Has anyone had this happen to them almost 3 years after treatment?
TIA Lillian
Hi Ray, I have an appointment on January 8th but today I have struggled to get a yoghurt down. I just don’t understand why this is happening, it has never been this bad before.
Thankk you Lillian
If you didn't want to wait until then, if you give them a ring, they may be able to see you before that.
Ray.
Agree with Ray. Give your CNS a ring.

Hi Lilian,
So glad to hear that you managed to get an appointment for tomorrow. Let us know how you got on.
All the very best.

Saw the Consultant today and it took him 3 goes to get the camera down my throat. Apparently it stems from when I had Oral thrush about a month ago and the back of my tongue and my throat are swollen.
He said there is no quick fix and I just have to take soluble vitamin C tablets and drink plenty of water and go back to soft diet and I am back in 3 weeks.
So no Xmas dinner for me unless it’s blended , on the plus side I am ok to have a Prosecco
Well thank you all for listening and being there for me.
I’m hope you all have a wonderful Xmas and a great New Year x
