Sore areas on tongue

Yes. Crisps annoyed me for a couple of years. 

I can't believe how much of a problem it can cause, will it go away eventually?

Hi, Mark, that sounds about right after eating crisps, I'm sure it's the texture of them a bit rough on the tongue and throat.

Yes...just takes a little time. Don't try again for a couple of months

Over 2 years out of treatment and some things still trigger a sore tongue, the area took a lot of punishment...a few sprays with Difflam or applying Biotene gel usually clears it up.

Yep, crisps can set my throat off too. Also, last week I managed to get some extremely hot tomato soup on my (now 5 yr old) excision site and suffered for 4 days or so. It felt really blistered, but gargling with salt water eventually calmed it down. It did put the wind up me for a day or two though! Part of the New Normal I’m afraid. 

One year on and I still can't eat many crisps! So sounds normal to me! Still finding out what I can and can't manage. Spicy food is still lit of bounds for me.
