Hi
I’ve just been told, by text, that this mouthwash is no longer available on prescription. They’ve suggested that I buy it over the counter. Just wondered if this was the same for everyone?
thanks, Lisa x
Does, do you know, apply to the gel and sprays too as those are what I use every night? I was told by initially by my GP pharmacist they were on prescription then and they are visible on my NHS medications page but then my request for a repeat was blocked no explanation given.
Hi, Does any one know if this applies to the gel and spray? I use those repeatedly everynight and out of the blue when asking for a repeat prescription I was told no. No explanation given.

Hi, when Bioxtra was first refused I asked my GP for alternatives and was prescribed a Biotene spray and Oralieve gel (ON NHS). I’ve since had another go at getting Bioxtra (citing the coding issue) and have been advised that it’s been approved. Won’t know for sure until I collect from pharmacy. Will keep you posted on this…
Ok I’m in the case but I reckon . Exactly the same a change if coding will get back to you
