Hi all,

Diagnosis T2 N2b M0 squamos cell carcinoma of left tonsil.

I am two years post treatment and have recently had my heartburn prescription stopped. Currently have frequent bouts, am taking Rennie tablets that aren't very good.

Was on Omeprazole.

  • Hi, WHUMARK, it seems odd that you have had it stopped without being given something instead. I have had Gaviscon advance on repeat, for last 7 years.

    Ray.

  • Eleven years on Omeprazole initially, which was changed to Lanzoprazole for some reason at one point, don't recall why. If I run out I can cope with Rennies for a couple of days, but no longer.

Lansoprazole is safer in the long term.
