Hi all,
Diagnosis T2 N2b M0 squamos cell carcinoma of left tonsil.
I am two years post treatment and have recently had my heartburn prescription stopped. Currently have frequent bouts, am taking Rennie tablets that aren't very good.
Was on Omeprazole.
Hi WHUMARK
Welcome
Why was your medication stopped? Who stopped it.
If it was your GP get your ENT to ask them to restart it.
RT not only reduces the amount of saliva we produce but changes its make up. It’s unable to interact with the acid in your stomach properly so you get reflux.
I am on lansoprazole five plus years down the line And can’t do without it.
I have seen gastroenterology and they tell me PPIs are very safe even in the long term.
