Hi,
Had pet scan last Monday in Aberdeen.200ml round trip.long day. Just wondered if anyone else waiting for their results too ? Have been put on Mirtazapine to help with sleep and jitters.
Hope everyone on here is doing well,
Turi
Hey Turi. Good to hear from you.
Horrid waiting. You’d think we would get good at it but we don’t. You need a distraction. You know this already but there’s no harm in repeating it. This cancer is 90% curable and for the moment there is nothing you can do. Hang on.
Hopefully somebody else here us waiting and can keep you company.
Good luck
Dani

Hi Turi
Stressful ....I had to wait about 3 weeks for CT/PET results....thankfully they were OK.
I was on Zopiclone for sleep issues...we need respite from the stress....decent sleep is essential.
Scans at ARI? Are you North of Aberdeen
Take care and best of luck
Peter
Hi Peter,
I'm in Inverness.Had never been to ARI before goodness it's huge ! Parking a complete nightmare ! Raigmore hospital in Inverness is like a doll's house compared to it.
Turi
Hi Turi
We are in North Angus/Aberdeenshire
Inverness is a beautiful City... been there many times....usually holiday in Speyside once a year,
ARI is difficult to access and park.... busy roads, and junctions... I was treated there many years ago ....heart surgery.
PET/CTs are stressful enough without the long journey....I hope everything goes well for you.
Take care
Peter
HinTuri we went on holiday to the black Isle 2 years ago. We loved the area , went to cinema in Inverness that’s my claim to fame !Top Gun 2

Hope your doing fine,
Turi
