everyone 6 months ago I was diagnosed with cancer on my vocal cord, I am just writing this as a big thank you to my GP, and my consultant, and the nurses that cared for me in Morriston hospital.

To all the staff in the Singleton hospital radiotherapy department, who were so caring and encouraging! After 15 sessions of radiotherapy, Also the members of this community for their advice and encouragement my consultant gave me the news yesterday that there was no cancer visible what a wonderful present the gift of life, and my voice has now returned to normal, as he said they will monitor the situation to make sure cancer doesn't return.

Also, I must thank The Macmillan Cancer Support for all the help they have given me from day one, and boy did I need it when I was told I had cancer.

One of the things the consultant said to me was because I went to see him as soon as I had the feeling something was wrong, it was caught at an early stage and therefore the outcome was good! So I implore you don't put off going to see your doctor if you are unwell it may save your life.
