Hi folks

Just wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Best Wishes for the New Year.

Hubby's news was not good at November visit to the famous cancer hospital.  A new tumour found on a scan and is growing.  Surgery not an option.  Treatment is either with Prembro something or other mab.  Or Clinical trial with same drug plus either another immunotherapy of placebo.  As monitoring is more intense on the trial he has opted for that.  In process of being tested to see if he meets all the criteria for going on the trial.  Final yah or nay 8th January.  Things hectic here without Christmas etc so will bob by as and when I can.

Thanks to everyone for all the help and advice.

Love & Light to you all.

Margaret

  • Hi Margaret

Thanks for finding the time to update us.
So sorry it’s bad news again.
There have been some striking results with immunotherapy and different ones are coming online all the time. There are currently a couple of folk on here being given Cemiplimab and they are doing well.
Ive got my fingers crossed that your husband is a candidate.
Wishing you a peaceful Christmas sounds absurdly lame  in the face of your problems but I’ll do it anyway

    Take care, both of you
