Hi, I finished my treatment over 2 years ago and am free of disease as per PET scan but I’ve booked a 3 day break & insurance are asking details of the cancer & then quoting ridiculous amounts. Could anyone recommend a company? Thanks M

  • Hi, Mmac, unfortunately it will be the case but I found Insurewith very helpful and competitive, it's best to call them and not do an online quote as they ask questions outside the normal and also you can explain your situation better,

Hope you get the break, Take care

  • Hi Mmac, like Tony I have used Insurancewith they have always been very reasonably priced.

    Ray.

  • Payingtoomuch.com or Saga, I've used both, not too bad price wise.

£400 for annual multi trip Europe...couple.

  • I have cover for everything except any issues relating to my cancer through the Nationwide packaged account.  They do not charge me a premium.  I am comfortable that the risks involved are minimal - especially if I book "last minute" and if I have any concern mid trip then returning to the UK at the end of the trip should not be an issue.  It is the nature of the cancer and the issues I have.  Works for me, but maybe you need more risk cover.

  • I have annual multi-trip insurance with Staysure, it was about £175 I think. I declared my cancer treatment and had to confirm that I had had no sign of disease for two years.
