So on a lighter note, I am wondering whether people kept their radiation masks, and what they did with them?
Hi Rachael S
Mine is Ellie she’s in my living room been experimenting with flowers but she’s not finished ….not sure how she will end up looking as I keep changing my mind but,she reminds me of all the support I got to get through the experience.
I love the creativity people have shown with their Masks and I also appreciate that we are all different My Dad tried to burn his in our garden it took forever.
All the best
Debbie
Reminds me of Blodeuwedd
Now why doesn't that surprise me
By the way, do you live in Wales, Rachael?

Base of tongue cancer. T2N0M0 6 weeks Radiotherapy finished January 2019
I have mine at home. Now in the loft, but the grandchildren were fascinated and enjoyed playing with it. I have a few other medical bits that have been in me in the loft also. When my wife goes out shopping in the next few days I am going to recover it from the loft and decorate it with Christmas lights. I think is appropriate as it was made for me on the last working day before Christmas last year.
I may well be spending this Christmas in hospital when she get home and sees it
Brought mine home with me, not even really sure why.
Quickly realised there wasn't much space for it in the house and we don't have a garage so it ended up in the landfill waste within a couple of weeks.
Thanks Rachael
Please send a picture of yours if you decide to do something with it .
