Hi all,
Had surgery yesterday ,and consultant decided not to take tonsil out as he found a lump at base of tongue ,which he thinks is primary ,so he took lots of biopsy and now being tested.
So another waiting game ,but Rachel (key worker) says it won't be too long as they are quick at turn around at the moment.
Fingers crossed. Mine was in the same place. The RT annihilated the cancer and my tonsils.

My primary was right tonsil spread to base of tongue and several lymph nodes but chemo and radiotherapy frazzled it …literally 
. Remeber HPV related cancers have over 90% cure rate … I got the all clear in April.
Keeping my fingers crossed that everything will start to happen really soon for you.
Many of us us feel once we start treatment the anxiety and fear of the unknown seem to lessen .
