Tongue cancer

I can’t help with the surgery as mine was inoperable and I had to go straight to RT but to be honest I’d go with what my surgeon told me. Is there any point in waiting for a surgical wound to heal if there may still be cancer cells there. Quick surgery must surely be your best shot. 

Thanks Beesuit I appreciated reading your blog and realise another operation is probably the way forward. I’ll be having radiotherapy this time as well

Hi Sue Essex. I  couldn’t have surgery I was straight into chemo and radiotherapy. Like Dani says I would take nite of what the surgeon says. Why wait I would want it done as soon as possible , if you wait for tongue to heal it’s only got to heal again if that makes sense.
