  • Hi Yuggy

Had 3 molars out prior to start of Chemoradio....no fun.....dentist told me to look on the bright side....I was also getting a free scale and polish.

All on here have walked the treatment walk, forum is full of helpful advice and sympathetic ears.

Best of luck and take care.

  • Nice to meet you Guy and good luck with the treatment. You’ll get lots of advice in here, but mine at this juncture would be to try to get as fit as you can before treatment begins, if at all possible. It does help the recovery process. All the best, M

  • Hey Turi

I am not sure, so much info, I took very little in!

How did you find Raigmore, any helpful advice?

    Many thanks

    Guy

  • Hi Guy,

You might find you have to ask alot of questions when you are in ENT .Take a note book with all your questions in they are not forthcoming i found in ENT.The specialist nurse is very good.If you have time to spare pop into Maggies which is opposite the side entrance to radiotherapy. Its a great place you can sit and have a coffee and the people who work in there are very knowledgeable about all aspects of cancer from benefits to treatment.Seonid Green the manager is very good.Maybe I'll see you in there sometime

    Turi

  • OK thanks, will do

I tried last time but so much going on forgot to get it out!

I’ve been a few times now and your right it’s just wonderful and so grateful it’s there
