️ so far so good throats a bit scratchy. And I’m so tired but I’m putting that down to the 07:00 appointments and the hours drive before that, they moved me to the 08:30 slot next week so a lay in. The mask is fine no holes for eyes nose etc but it’s only on for 10 minutes so not bad just listen to the radio. So if anyone is starting RT it’s not too bad squished. Face. Is the worst part on the day , sore throat after two weeks no external redness yet my gp advised using Flamigel before and after treatment and at bedtime. Go well folks
squished. Face
Yes. I used to come out with my face imprinted for half an hour or so.
Yes that happened to me too. I had a bobbly face for a couple of hours after. For me the mask was like a comfort blanket. I was so scared of moving and the rays going to the wrong place that the mask was my reassurance. If that makes any sense. Fabulous that you’re at the half way stage already. Hoping the side effects get no worse for you. Wishing you well.

I totally understand that. I used to wait for a lull in treatment as the machine moved round doing nothing so that I could swallow.
