Hi ,60 yrs old, diagnosed with Oropharyngeal right tongue base T2N2bM0 squamous cell carcinoma p16 positive.... this I can just about deal with because it is what it is, and I trust my team to get me through this... what I really can't deal with at the moment is suddenly being out of work with no money coming in and having to jump through hoops to get bugger all, really.. just really stressed about how on earth am I going to pay my rent.. as if we don't have enough to deal with.
Hi
I don't think any of us can offer practical help on the financial issues, but Macmillan and probably Citizens Advice Bureau could steer you in the right direction and advocate for you. Give them a call.
As to the cancer, well your in the right place for practical advice and a listening ear. Here to watch your back during treatment and make sure you get through it as best as you can.
