I found a lump in neck about a year ago but thought it was infection but i didnt get sick. Thought it might be pulled muscle from old pillow so got new ones and gave it tome to heal. It didnt so went to gp and he found a lump on other side too. Waited to see ent who cancelled appointment so had to wait six months. In this time i realised i had other symptoms night sweats, headaches, a slight cough, drained of energy despite rest, trouble swallowing. Day before saw ent i found a third lump at clavicle. These dont hurt but are uncomfy. Ent was useless, spent more time looking in my throat despite lumps being outside of neck. I showed him where lumps were but he felt around them. Said neck feels symmetrical despite two lumps on one side and one on other. My symptoms didnt raise any alarms but ordered ultrasound. Cough got worse and im bringing up fluid from lungs daily. Ultrasound showed lots of lumps which got measured but wont get results for weeks. Blood tests are normal. Found two more lumps so five now, three r close to left clavicle one higher up left side of neck and one right side higher up. Cancer is a big killer in my family so im very worried and dont know what to do next. I just know something isnt right i feel it.
Any way, hello all
Still no xray results. Ive just found another lump but this one is behind right knee, its large pea size, hard doesnt hurt. So thats six lumps now. This cant be normal and nothing to worry about. I think the feeling of a lump in my throat could be one of these lumps pressing on outside of throat which is why ent couldnt see anything in my throat. I just want a dr to take my concerns seriously and investigate. I dont want to be one of the people who are told nothing to worry about but then a few months later are fighting for their life due dr not doing their job right. Do i report new lumps to gp or wait for xray results, i feel like a pest
Update.
Xray was clear so no cause for cough or bringing up fluid from lungs or breathlessness.
Ent have discharged me despite ultrasound showing reactive lymph nodes. No investigation to find out cause so ive put a complaint in for negligence.
Gp has given me peptic liquid and beconase nasal spray for the lung thing. Not helping at all.
He also gave me arnica gel and biofreeze for the neck. Not helping one bit.
I now have four lumps on left side of neck, one on right. Two lumps under arms, two behind knees, two in groin. What ever is going on its spreading but drs say its fine and reassuring.
I hate this
I don't know what else to suggest except another opinion and insist on a biopsy of the nodes

Hi Dragoneye
Just seen your dilemma and sympathise. i live in Northern France where their health service is amazing. But even they make mistakes as i had an ultrasound of my neck after i found a gland in my neck swollen whilst i was shaving. No need to worry they said it is not a tumour and it will go in 2 to 3 weeks. 3 weeks came and still had lump back to Gp who immediately put in a request for me to see a top Ent specialist. i month later got the appointment. He was not happy as i had a fast-growing HPV virus and the miss diagnosis meant the tumour had got huge.
Now the advice i have had a few times when they have been dismissive. Do not let them hide behind the system. calmly say (no screaming or shouting as that will just put their backs up) this is my life you are talking about and if you are wrong and i have a major problem i will hold you personally responsible and it will be you who i will be seeking out not the health authorities so can i have your name and position. People do not like to be singled out when they can hide behind the system. and twice in my case it has focussed them, and they have moved mountains so do not put up with any crap. Good luck and keep positive
