Hi All
Was diagnosed with a tumour of the larynx on the 17th have had ct scan mri and a biopsy on the 23rd which havent had the results for yet has been a very scary time for me but am trying to take every day as it comes have been told i need an ultrasound in the new year
Have been on this site for a few days and it so nice that people take time to advise others who are just starting on this road and have taken heed not to google did a few times and really scared me so only come here for advice as it has helped me so much as prediagnosis is so hard.
Many Thanks

Hi Chris see you have been welcomed warmly by some, as you have only just been diagnosed I assume options haven't been discussed, just to say Iam 16 months on from Larynx cancer at stage 4, my best option was a Laryngectomy so now speak via a valve and stoma
Hope your treatment is less radical but make sure you take in all the pro's and cons with chemo and worse Radiotherapy as that's the one that damages the tissue if further treatment is needed
Your in good company
All the best Tony

Hi Chris
Just wanted to welcome you to the forum - glad you've found us. I also scared myself silly in the early days before my full diagnosis by looking online for more information - it was very misleading.
Well done for taking each day as it comes. It is this waiting game which is difficult.
All the best.

Hi try not to overthink it. We can’t 2, nd guess anything until all biopsies are done and the m d t teams have met. Just take each day as it comes. Don’t think too far in advance.
