Just had all my results today and treatment plan.  My cancer has not spread anywhere else yet so I am to start 30 days of radiotherapy in January all around my neck   I have to say I am really wondering how I will cope with this but I know I have to be strong for myself and my family. Any help to get me through this would be really appreciated.

  • So sorry. That was exactly the same as me.  I had to have 7 rounds of chemo.  Immnow 12 weeks post treatment.  Tumour gone but pretty severe throat issues.  Eating is not an option, I'm totally reliant of RIG tube feeding.  It's barbaric treatment, very prolonged and difficult.  However, there are no other options and you will get through it.  With hindsight zI would suggest you take the pain killers regularly and take wanting on offer.  Listen to your body, sleep and rest.  I thought I could manage it all soon found out I couldn't.   Good luck

  • You'll do it!  Just listen to your body andvtake pain lillers regularly!!!!!!

  • Hi Lillian
