Hi
im 9 weeks post radiotherapy to palate and neck. Had neck dissection December.
is it usual to be so stiff!! My neck hurts pretty much all the time on any movement and i can feel it crunching when i move my neck and head. My head feels full like a pressure cooker !! Im deaf with terribly loud tinnitus in one ear. Its so debilitating. My head feel likes like it’s throbbing and doesn’t help because i can hear my heart bear in my ear. Is this usual and will it get better? So tired still and feel weak and wobbly. I feel like im getting worse not better. Anyone else experience this?
thanks x
Good advice Hazel
i hope i can get it all out without blubbing. Things is, then they say, oh your depressed!! Im just frustrated and feel unwell and need some help. Xx
Hi Elaine even now 4 years on I do a list in duplicate snd hand one over so consultant had a copy. My oncologist holds his hand out for his copy ! He appreciates it then-we go through point by point admittedly now it’s rarely more than 2-3 points.
iT stops the blubbering even in my very first consult I did the same.
you need someone to listen. Do you by chance have a Maggie s near you they are very good.
