Morning all,
I finally got to have a lung biopsy on the 7th May and had a telephone consultation yesterday with the results to confirm the nodule, now being termed as a tumour is cancerous.
I’m feeling a bit numb about this news- 3rd time with this crappy disease.
Good news is I’m expecting the arrival of 2 grandchildren this year. My daughter’s baby is due in July and my son’s in October. My focus is on that and hoping I’m fit enough to enjoy them.
best wishes to you all,
little-fi

Good evening little-fi, so sorry to hear this news, i feel for you as a i had a hattrick of cancers linked to the head and neck and it can be hard to believe when it returns. I'm sure they will come up with a treatment plan that will do the trick as they did with me and im now 11 years free from this disease and officially cure. Through your posts, you have been quite upbeat about it all and im positive this attitude will help you get through it again, there are some lovely people in the lung group that should help you through it all.
This will be just the news that you need with the grandchildren it will give you something to aim and look forwards to, how lovely.xx Please do pop back as you have been a great help on here with your comments and advice, so thanks for that. Wishing you all the best for your next treatment plan, take care, be good .

Ahh Chris, thank you for your kind words. I hope I can stay half as positive as you’ve been! You have really been my inspiration.
I guess we all get used to our new normals eventually but I do remember back in my first days of undergoing chemo/radiation, unable to sleep with anxiety and all that goes with it and looking on this site to see yours, Mikes, Margaret’s & Joycee’s words of wisdom & comfort to others.
I was blown away by that especially after reading what you had gone through and how selfless and caring you were. You never seem to moan, you must be a super human!
Anyway, thanks again and I’ll keep you posted!
Much love
little-fi
