Waiting for news on tumour surgery

1 in lower neck not too painful, but one under base of skull pressing on scary things, feels like pressure at side of head.... any advice on pain relief...been using paracetamol and ibuprofen-is ibuprofen ok or can it cause faster blood flow which could cause problems

Help!

  • I’d contact your hospital team. Maybe cocodomol might be a step up from paracetamol?

  • I dont have a team  unfortunately

Ive emailed secretary today to see if there's any news on anything..Just feel so isolated at minute - hospital wise

  • Thankyou though might try cocodamol

  • Sorry to hear about your pain .

Co-Codamol is very good at pain relief ,try and get 30/500 effervescent as they are big tablets so the dispersible ones wont hurt your throat.

    Good luck

Yes those are prescription only and definitely worth trying.  Let the fizz subside though.

  • Oh Steve, so sorry to read your news.
There have been some remarkable success stories with IT. We have a forum member who had two years of Pembrolizumab and is now three years clear of his last infusion.
