Hi
All the best with your journey.
My mum had full rhinectomy and partial cheeks removal plus neck nodes removed about 15 weeks ago. Now almost finished four weeks of high dose radiation. Doing well for an 80yr old. Extreme fatigue, bad throat and lots of flem and watery swollen eyes and nausea. Lost weight now 37kg. Just found aggressive tumour between eyes and another in the throat. We are unsure what the next steps will be now because the tumours remain. Cant have the prosthesis till the eye tumour is gone. Dust affects her sinuses a lot now and starting to lose hearing
Its a tough gig at any age but lots of people go on to healthier futures
Good luck
Sorry to hear your having to have the rhinectomy. The prosthesis is quite snug, but as for the amount of dust etc you encounter daily I can’t comment you’d have to ask your ENT consultant. I get on with my life, working, socialising, etc. You’d have to watch that you don’t knock it off though as who knows where it will land. Mines had a few journeys around the house. All the best to you.
