Hello lm new here and just typing out for support or advice. In April 22 my dad was diagnosed with oesophageal cancer.Chemo followed and then a huge operation in December where all cancer was removed.More chemo followed and then a scan with a reassurance that there were no traceable cancer cells in his body and noted that his bloods were all ok.In the meantime my dad has been unable to gain weight, has rib pain and falls asleep almost all day and his food intake isnt enough.
In late June he started to experience back pain which seemed to move around. The GP suggested it could be kidney stones and sent him home with anti biotics. This didnt seem to help so we took him to A and E and a scan has detected a mass on his liver. We are now awaiting a call from a specialist with sdvice to what happens next. Its an extremely awful time and we are all worried sick
Big hugs to you all. Such a worrying time. Hope your specialist can give you some hope and put your minds more at rest.
