Hi, I am looking for some advice about my mum who has advanced gullet cancer. She has had three cycles of chemo (three weekly) and has felt very ill ever since. When she had her treatment, there is a foul smell that fills the house for a few days. It is becoming more noticeable that her breath is very foul smelling nearly all the time. When she comes to ours, it can then be smelt in our house too. We have also noticed that if we spent the whole day with her, we seem to get sore throats is there any link? She has had complications along the way and has been asked if she wishes to stop the chemo on two occasions. Although she has been told this is only palliative, she believes she will get better if she continues treatment. Her consultant has asked for an urgent scan for tomorrow and her continuing chemo due on Tuesday will depend on the results. If there has not been an reduction, they are stopping chemo. What will this mean for my mum? I hope you can help?

Hello Musty, I think I also have food debris stuck which are rooting in the oesophagus. How and who can I ask for an endoscopic wash out? Thank you in advance for your precious help.
