Hello, I received this in an email from Winston's Wish in reply to my query about support for children:
If you, your older children or the people you are in contact with on your forum require support, we can provide guidance and information to them, anyone supporting them, and we also support the children directly through our Help & Support Line on 08088 020 021 or through our Live Chat found in the bottom right corner of our website - these services are open Monday to Friday, 8am-8pm. We would support children under 7 years through the parent or guardian.
As a first point of support, we can share a publication with you called 'As Big As It Get's' which offers advice and guidance for when someone is seriously ill. We hope this helps and please share with anyone you think may benefit from this information. We also have a young persons website called Talk Grief which can be found here: Home (talkgrief.org)
We are happy to support you if you have any specific questions and you can contact us as many times as you need.
Warmest wishes,
Winston’s Wish ASK Team
They sound great

Hi Lorraine,
Thanks for sharing this, Winston's Wish is a great charity and one of the one's highlighted in our page here.
As our son was fairly young when my wife was diagnosed we had quite a bit of experience of getting help from a number of sources not least of which was from his school.
<<hugs>>
Steve
