Hi has anyone had this?
Hubby had op 10/7/24 and they got all of the tumour with clear margins which was a relief as according to the surgeon it was huge.
32 clear lymph nodes with the 33rd having signs of cancer that had been zapped by FLOT.
His problem is severe pain (where the stomach used to be) after eating in the evenings. It is so bad that he has to take Tramadol and go to bed to lie down.
Could this be simply because he's eating too much in one go?
It seems strange that it only happens in the evenings.
Thanks in advance for your help
Hi Jaxster373 welcome to the forum. I dont have any direct experience of what has happened for your hubby but I am wondering if you have any contact details for the hospital team to speak to them and ask them directly?
It is entirely possible thats things are starting to move now almost 6 weeks after surgery but even that time frame is early so i would be tempted to ask the professionals who will know much better and able to offer some re-assurance and/or information for you.
Hi, thanks so much for your reply. He is speaking with them today but they weren't working when I posted due to the weekend and bank holiday.
It only lasted for an hour or so and then he's OK again thankfully. He possibly ate too much in one go.
