Still bother with swallowing

Hi my husband was diagnosed 2.5 years ago with Oesophageal cancer he initially had 1wk of Radiotherapy and stent fitted and 4mths of chemo .He was much improved and eating got better until recently and had to have 2weeks of Radiotherapy for swollen lymph nodes at neck and jaw which ended 4weeks ago .He is still Have bother with solid food and is only managing soup and pudding .Does anybody know how long it should take for his swallow to improve, any advice would be helpful thanks x

    I'm sorry to hear that your husband is having problems swallowing since having radiotherapy. That must be very distressing for you both.

    I can't answer your question but I noticed that your post hadn't had any replies yet. By replying to you it will 'bump' it back to the top of the first page where it stands a chance of being seen.
