My husband started his EOX chemotherapy today. I’m anxious about it because it looks like many people on here have ECX. I asked if the chemo my husband is on is as good as ECX but the GI nurse gave me a completely different answer to the oncologist. So my fear is have they put him on something that isn’t as good. The nurse said it’s because he can swallow so does not need ECX but the oncologist said it’s because it’s less side effects. So what is it?
He has the chemo intravenously once every three weeks then tablets every day in between. This will be for three cycles. Has anyone else had this chemo and did you have any problems?
Sorry for keep asking questions all the time.
Judy
