My 83 year old mum has oesophageal cancer and is now finding things getting more difficult with a build up of saliva. It is particularly bad at night for her. She is considering having a stent, but is worried that once it’s in, she won’t be able to have it removed if she can’t get on with it.
is anyone able to offer their experience of having a stent and how they have coped with it so I can chat to her about it.
Thank you.
