my dad has a tumour which impacts oesophagus, had to have a tracheostomy etc. he was due to start radiotherapy after two rounds of chemo but CT scan when fitting radiotherapy mask shows tumour larger than they thought and lymph node may be impacted. So radiotherapy delayed whilst new scans, to see if spread and new plan. I’m devastated but have no idea what it all means. Anyone had experience of radiotherapy being delayed like this?
